Love Letter Review

  • Number of players : 2-4
  • Ages : 10+
  • Time : 20
Overall -- 9/10
Cost -- 10/10
Graphics -- 10/10
Durability -- 10/10
Play ability (how easy to play) -- 10/10
Play ability (strategic) -- 7/10

This is a simple card game to be played between 2 to 4 players.  At the beginning of each round one card is removed from the deck.  By removing the card it adds a element of mystery and strategy.  Each time you win a round of the game you get a love letter through to the princess (signified by receiving a red wooden block).  The player that gets the majority of their love letter through to the princess wins the game.

The game retails for around $10.

The suggested age for the game is 10+, but I would say those as young as 6 years old could play with some minor help.

Strategic:  At the start of each round one card is removed and not seen.  Through out each round you are trying to figure out which card the other players have so you can decide between playing one of two cards.
