Its warming beams were sent to wake them all from their gentle sleep. Not all were welcoming to this warming blanket. One on the far side of the little town of Bermsteed found this morning to be empty. He did not want to allow the light of day to end his tormented sleep. His tears of grief and self pity had soaked his pillow the night before.
