Review of Home-it Fabric Shaver (SM-1903 Fabric Lint Remover) -- watch the video

In the video I used the product on a blanket to clean up salt, on a towel, and on a sweater.
-Did fine on picking up salt, but a lint roller did better.
-Removed loose threads on a towel.
-Did OK on the sweater in removing pills.

Durability
-Body is durable
-The blades are flimsy

Battery compartment
-Poor quality

Price
-Higher then other similar products on the market

Removing particulates from fabric
-Lint roller does a better job

The instructions indicated "Before using the fabric shaver, test on a hidden area of the fabric to be shaved."  Some fabrics do not have a hidden area that can be tested.

Very loud, in a quiet room the dB level was 75+dB with it on. I got as high as 95+dB when being used on fabric.
