Sunless Morning Sky

As I look up into the dark sky, I begin to anticipate what will come with the day.  I look deep into the vast sunless darkness, with the millions of tiny light looking back.  My gaze drifts to the belt of Orion and see many more light dancing about.  The breeze is chilling as time passes.  Then a beam of heavenly light shows up in a blink of an eye and dances across the sky.  As it goes it make many daughter beams that don't last as long.  As fast as it showed up it disappears from before my eye.  Did it make it or did it disintegrate.  I will never know, but at least I was there to see it go by.
